well that's kind of what you get for listening to that stuff :o

I listen to a lot of Disney music, and it usually gets me in a placid mood, no nightmares for me :D

Ahh but you can't appreciate the light if you don't dwell in the dark every now and then (with a night light maybe) :E

well I admit I listen to sinister stuff too at times, like Alien.

That's what makes it even more scary! Besides, if the good guys get to be ghosts, why can't the bad guys too?

hehe they were sort of smiling all the time too, they just weren't very good at it.

well honestly the one in the first Alien movie was scary....mostly because of the atmosphere and build up. And the 2nd movie Aliens was great too.

Agreed! While it's great to see more of an interesting universe, sometimes it's best to be left wanting more. Same could be said about a lot of tv series.

well the thing that makes the other movies (except Aliens--that's the only good sequel) was the characters. In the first and second movies they are great. In the others....I don't remember any of them.
that and they don't have the mystery and build up. Its just uninteresting. In fact I was grossed out by Alien 3, not by a chest burst...but by an autopsy o_o

Yeah it seems like instead of trying to intertwine an interesting story with a horror film, they're just trying to make a horror film that capitalizes off the series. Nothing builds off of it, it's just another movie.

and it doesn't even have Ripley in it all the time :o she's interesting, and they had some dumb teenagers in an Alien vs. Predator (don't ask me which one....though it was definitely not the first one, which had a human and Predator buddy duo) :o
