NCSU furries? / life updates
Been a while since my last post! I've been extremely busy with starting up at school, moving in to the workshop, selling at Furlaxation, and more.
With how busy I have been, I slightly ended up neglecting trying to develop a social life here on campus in the first few weeks. Now that things are beginning to calm down (slightly), are there any furs at NCSU looking for someone to hang out with? I'd really love the chance to meet some people - I'm very very shy at first, but if you get to know me I'll stop being that way.
Updates on my life:
Business - We've more or less moved everything over to the new workspace. I've been packing and shipping orders out of it for the last couple of weeks, and I must say, it is SO MUCH BETTER than shipping out of the small extra room at my house. We're still trying to get organized, though.
Lots of furs on FS.com are unfortunately currently out of stock; been having some issues with our supplier recently. I reordered ~12 rolls from them almost 3 weeks ago and they just shipped yesterday. Please bear with me if you are waiting to be able to order fur! We're also currently working on implementing some new infrastructure that should make out of stock issues and availability issues less frequent.
Personal - College is way more hectic than I would have guessed. So far it's really been a struggle trying to manage my business, college, and personal stuff simultaneously. What I was afraid of happening is pretty much what happened - the expectations at college are far more significant than they were in high school. Even though there is less time in class, I feel like more of my time is dominated by school than it was before. Hoping things will get better as I get into more classes directly related to my major, which hopefully will be enjoyable. (Calculus and chemistry, not fun!) I'm still trying to figure out how to make this work!
Also, I am somewhat trying to lose weight again. I haven't had any success sticking with anything in the past; we'll see how well it goes this time around.

Not at NC State yet, but maybe next year =) Good luck with everything! Calculus and Chemistry are hard classes! Even if you have no trouble understanding the lectures, just the shear amount of time you have to spend working on problems outside of the math classes is much higher than the time commitment for any other type of class... at least for me. So once you get them out of the way, you'll feel like your 3 "hour" classes are so easy. So stick with it, and again, good luck!
