Sony vegas. You better know how to use pirate bay. Its a 900 dollar program, but its easy and fantastic!

I love how literally the first response boldly tells you to illegally acquire an industrial quality piece of software for a trivially simple task in a community where even referencing someone else's work let alone copying it will cause a lynchfest.

There's a bunch of completely free solutions out there as well. You might want to look into Avidemux: http://avidemux.sourceforge.net/
Or if you prefer a more in-your-face UI, Blender's Video Sequence Editor will be just as WYSIWYG as Vegas or Premiere: http://blender.org
Both completely free and open source projects with huge communities willing to give you a hand with any problems.

Sony Vegas 11 is one of the easiest to learn video editing programs out there. Let the girl figure out what program she wants. If she wants really simple tasks then I'm sure your programs are fine. But if you want a straight forward easy yet advanced program I would go with Vegas. That I heard you can get online ;)

Windows movie maker is awful miss sushi. Its just really hard to use and can do 4 things haha.

You hardly need anything even close to the scale of Vegas/Premiere to edit speedpaints for online. And elitist? It's called moral integrity.

Moral integrity? You're legally pirating something from Sweden where there are no copyright laws. It's completely legal, that's why you can do it.

You can buy all the programs and CDs you want, it doesn't make me morally reprehensible to download music someone was kind enough to share.

You can tell yourself it's legal or that there are no copyright laws all you want, but that won't make it so. Sure, it's a well known fact that piracy is quite rampant in Sweden among certain demographics, but Sweden is actually a member of WIPO and has signed the WIPO Geneve Copyright Treaty (http://www.wipo.int/wipolex/en/profile.jsp?code=SE), which kind of contradicts your claim, no?

That doesn't actually matter though, let me just quote a paragraph from the FA Code of Conduct:
