Well... I didn't get hired, despite the fact I worked there, was liked, did my job, and wasn't fired...
Apparently (and this is in the managers own words) "I'm done hiring. I hired a guy in a suit. He looked desperate."
-_-
Am I going to have to start pulling out the suit I use for funerals?

My logic jumped to "So... I can go spend thousands on an Armani suit, and get hired cause said suit makes me look desperate to get hired. But the bum by the highway offramp, who has no job and no money, won't get a job cause he looks like a bum..."
Personally... that's 90's mentality... >.>

Apparently the manager would have someone dress up, and fail when someone asks him or her a question; as opposed to a person who has been employed at that same store, wasn't fired, and knows not only about what the store sells... but what goes into what they sell...
I agree, there is something going on there...

... Said manager has hired 11 people... never called me once...
Yeah. That's as bad as the 'I felt like it' excuse...
"He looked desperate" is nothing more than a weak excuse to bump someone out of the way who came to Gamestop FIRST before a retarded monkey whiteskin in a suit.
Try a fastfood place. They have a high turnover rate, but you have a good chance of working there. You're gonna have to suffer a little bit to make the effort, even if it's minimum wage.
Myself, I have two jobs - both of them are food eateries.
I wish you the very best in the long road ahead, NN.
