Start Here
First, i just noticed that I have 3503 pageviews. How the HELL did that happen? I mean, I don't post things often, I'm terrible at drawing, I haven't written anything worth posting in a long time, I have 96 submissions and 77 watchers.... Am I doing something right? I don't get much attention on here. I mean, I'm sure at least one of my submissions has absolutely no views. Where did 3500 pageviews come from? Weird. Must be aliens.
Anyway, here's the main point I wanted to make when I started. It has nothing to do with any of the stats I listed above. A few years ago, I started developing some characters for a story/comic I intended to write. So far, it's gotten almost nowhere, but the characters and idea are still there, and lately they've been quite persistent. That being said, I have almost no artistic ability to draw, so the option of drawing out a comic myself is completely out of the question. I could write it out as a series of short stories, but I haven't written anything significant in a long time, and I'm kinda "out of practice". And to be totally honest, I'm not even very good at writing. But I try.
So here's what I think I'm trying to get at. If anyone's interested, I don't see why a collaborative effort can't come out of this. I have tons of ideas just waiting to become visual. I just need someone I can funnel ideas to, who in turn can channel them into an image. I don't mind doing all the writing and dialogue (if applicable). I don't know how other people handle collaborative work like this.
Now the part no one wants to hear. Right now, I can't really offer anything for this, except, like, my undying gratitude and Keep in mind, all I get out this is a way to visualize ideas I've had for years. Granted, if this does turn into a regular comic thing, I would definitely look at publishing. I don't know how that works, so that's all I'm going to say about it for now.
So all that being said, anyone interested?
