But being the newby that I am...So far I'm 'watching' those I know outside of FA (Like you), plus those whose galleries I've looked at & slobbered over.

I'm still new to all this & I don't even think I've added any favorites! D'OH! ::charges off::

Generally, I look through someone's gallery to see if they're producing anything that I like; and if they are, and consistently so, then I watch them. I'll also watch someone if I want to broaden my perspective on a particular style or form, like, say, poetry!

I only watch others on FA if the person's works tell an interesting story with believable characters and personalities/person's poetry thinks outside of the "Aw-I-Hate-dadadada-Poetry-Time" box and actually write something that catches my attention other than hearing about someone's depression (story-wise/poetry-wise).

When it comes to art, I want it to either look good, cool, wicked, beautiful, like some of the works I favor in my favorites. A few stick figures are all right, but I want something more than EPIC STICK FIGHTING, YAH.

I'm just another man of good taste, and I value it highly despite what you may see from me.
