This is highly suspicious if you ask me, but maybe I'm just paranoid. Even if it's not a scam, there's already over 1200 people participating, so the chances are so slim it's not even funny. But! Even though it's probably a tactic to win more watchers, it's nice to see someone give back to the community without asking for anything (explicitly) in return.

Sorry if I'm completely wrong, my cynicism levels are out of this world.
