I have not a 3DS too TT.TT
I want one for play X and Y, and games like Mario Kart 7, AC New Leaf, Paper Mario Sticker star....

I'd want to play xy, the 3d zelda remake, and the new harvest moon game. :)

I have a 3DS and am definitely planning on getting at least one of them. I normally get both/all three main games in a generation, but I don't have the time anymore to play through twice (aside from revisiting the game years later), so probably only one this time.

As for other 3DS games, I have Pokemon Mystery Dungeon:Gates to Infinity (best game soundtrack ever), Pokemon Rumble Blast, Animal Crossing: New Leaf, Fire Emblem: Awakening, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, and Tetris Axis. My favorite among these are PMD and Fire Emblem, though AC is fun as well with friends and Tetris is great for travel.

Of course, I'm going to end up screwing myself over in the game... My second favorite Pokemon of all time is Charmander, and Fennekin is already high up there as well, and then the first event is a Torchic...

Oh yeah, I'd only get one game - pretty sure I'd get X. :) Which version are you leaning toward?

I was soo tempted to get the 3ds when the Zelda version, and then the Fire Emblem version, were announced. So very tempted. I think I'd want to get an XL now if I were to get one - do you have XL or the regular version? And how did you like the Zelda OoT remake? :)

Haha, yes, they really pulled all the stops with the fire starters this gen. xD

I think I'm leaning more towards X at the moment. I haven't really compared the features or available Pokemon, but blue is my favorite primary color and I like Xerneas a bit more than Yveltal.

As for what type of 3DS, I have the regular version (though there was this special Eevee 3DS XL raffle that went on in Japan... I would've instantly bought/entered it if it was available in the US. On the topic of Zelda, the game is just as I remember it being, except that moving and working the camera is much easier and the 3D really is pronounced. It was, overall, a successful remake.

I got my 3DS on release day, and didn't use it really for nearly a year. But OoT 3D is a thing, and i am fond of that.

I want both versions-I bought X and Y, but one is for my best friend so i can't really count that....

If I get one, I will definitely want to play Zelda OoT on it. ><

I have the White 3DS XL (i sold my metallic red 3ds for £80.00 on Ebay), i've preordered Pokémon X and will choosing Froakie.

Other games.....i have Nintendogs +cats (the poodle edition; thinking of selling it and getting the French Bull dog edition), Street Fighter 3D and Super Mario Bros

The XL looks so pretty! If I get one, I am pretty sure it'd be the blue XL. :)
I'm still not sure which starter I'd choose! I'd need to know their final evos to be certain. >.< I thought I would pick Chespin, but then its second evo came out. xD;;

I'm very excited to have a friend sell me her old 3DS for cheap :'D she treated herself to a limited edition 3DS XL and is letting me have her old one for a price considerably better than the ones on ebay (I've been watching the 3DS sell on ebay for a while and the prices get hiked up to 130+, which isn't much of a deal!)

I've only played KH: Dream Drop Distance on a borrowed 3DS, but I'm torn between X and Y (X for the sweet X-exclusive evos, Y for Yveltal and the poke exclusives like spritzee and skrelp)

many people have recommended craigslist and ebay to get a 3DS before the games come out, but the prices might be rising considerably since it's so close to release date :'U hope you can get one eventually too!!

Is your friend getting one of the versions? If she's getting one opposite to yours, you can trade to get the items from both. :)

I would definently say get the XL, the bigger screen makes it easier on your eyes to see the text and graphics and stuff. Less cluster than a normal one, in my opinion. I've seen my brother's normal size one and that's how I felt about it.
Hehe, he would get so upset when I told him it's a 90% bigger screen than his.

Haha, yeah, I'm heavily leaning toward the blue XL. :) My DS Lite's screens look so tiny in comparison, and they give me eyestrain after a while. The XL's screens look so beautiful. ;_;

I can't remember what the difference is between them...I'd say $50.

It's not a bad trade-off, especially if it will prevent eyestrain, or at least extend the time I can look at it before making my eyes hurt. xD
Most of my friends like portables best, I could never get into them because they all give me headaches after I play them for a while, unlike consoles. Maybe the XL's larger screens will let me enjoy more portable games. :)

I have the exact opposite problem. Console's will wear on my eyes or give me headaches after I look at them for too long. It usually was with the PS2 I had, I did play that a lot though ^^;. And I used to play on consoles a lot, but I've really gravitated towards handhelds since I started high-school. With all the homework I do and places to go, I don't really have the time/luxury of playing games on my Wii or PS3 anymore. The handheld fixes that though, cause I can go anywhere with it and it can create a quick diversion when I'm bored.

Haha, yeah, maybe I will be able to play games more often again, since as you say, I rarely have the time to sit down for a few hours and play a console game these days. xD It's good your eyes do better with portables, then! :)

Yep~ I've always had a tendency to sit too close to a screen anyway with consoles...not really the best on the eyes.
