Government Shutdown

Yay, politicians can't get along so 800k people's jobs are affected. How much more is it going to take before the general public actually tries to fix what's broken?

It's like everyone in Congress just wants to whine and pout about their views, that will probably just give them what they want, instead of doing things for the people -3-

It has pretty well been messed over to a point to where it CAN'T be fixed. Although a huge EQ in DC wouldn't annoy me too greatly. I wouldn't be surprised if the government starts to dump people like mad and start hiring contractors to do EVERYTHING. Before long, instead of an institution of the state, it will be one of the corporate establishment, although with the lobbying and crap that goes on, it is in essence that now, it's just a way to get more labor over to the corporate side and make them money while the taxpayer will have to eat the 15% profit margin government contractors make, thus raising debt and taxes. Government fails, corporations offer cash to "bail out" the government in exchange for getting to run parts of it... if that happens, prepare to see a lot more places like Google, KS on the map. (Ford, MI to be upcoming perhaps?)
