Someone on Kickstarter is doing an animal-themed Tarot deck:

The illustrations are really pretty and the animal choices well thought-out. I particularly enjoy the Two of Cups illustration that's posted as a preview! I'd love to have it as a print <3 Well, really I'd love the art book and the cards in general, but yeah.
And actually, since I'm curious, who here likes Tarot? Does anybody here read the cards?

Saw this project a few days ago, really love the art style and I think that it would make for a great tarot deck, but I don't have much faith that it will meet the goal within the deadline. Why do Kickstarter projects require a deadline anyway? I'm not counting it out just yet, mind, I do hope it succeeds.
One alternative is "flexible funding" option on indiegogo, for example.

It puts the meanings on the edges of the cards themselves instead of making you look through a book for them, and it has some nice illustrations.
I always wanted to make a deck myself! But since I basically never read them, well...
Been thinking of actually designing my very own deck of tarot cards, not for mass produce but just a single deck for myself, adds more of my own energies into it, I could blather on but I'll keep my trap shut. ^^;
