What is your view on armor. Do you have a preference, a certain style/aesthetic? Do you think armor is hard to accurately create in art?

I've often wondering of a thing about your characters... As insects, do they live in some kind of micro-universe or do they just have an average human size ?

They live in their own planet and they are human sized, some bigger, like Kuro that is almost 7'!

I love armor! I love all kinds of armor hahaha and armored characters are nice!

I don't think it's "hard" to create accurate armor in art... but I think it might be... boring. We all know real armors don't have massive skull-modeled shoulders with glows everywhere and bones inserted into the armor, and spikes and... all the cool stuff! While I love real, good ol' armor, I also have a fondess for the "WoW-esque" type of armor, that I just described above!

And then there's the hot topic on armor of the moment: the female armor!

We all know how terribly stylized female armors are right now, with the boob cups and metal loincloth. I'm not against it either. I think everything depends on your goal. If your goal is mainly to appeal to the straight male audience, then you might want to go with the stylized armor. But if your goal is to appeal to females too, then you might want to add an option for them to wear REAL heavy armor and all. :3

Depends. Right now I'm not very much interested because my time is very limited, and I prefer to work on my own projects than to do collabs, trades, etc. ^^;

I don't drink tea... I think I only drink it when I'm sick and it's usually one with terrible taste but good medicinal effect, like boldo. But tea is part of everyday life of the Greatlanders and they certainly love it! XD

dubcon? What's that? And you don't have to just list the 'nonvanilla' ones XD I'm curious.

Dubcon stands for 'dubious consent'. It means that a character is in a sexual situation and there is some hesitation or question, even though they do actually agree to it. If they don't agree it becomes noncon. Basically a "not sure if want" sort of situation.

You focus your art on Medieval Era (the use of sword to be short), but also on the Oriental part of it. There is samurai in your artworks, but no knights (in those I saw, sorry If I'm mistaken =) )

Why did you choose this period and this geographical specification ? Is it purely in an artistic point of view, historical, cultural ? All of that (I believe so). I just wanna hear your thoughts on this ^^

I'm a lover of History! I love almost all periods! But for my current project, Blade Under Mask, I've chose something inspired in Feudal Japan because I wanted to explore it more and because it fits the characters, plus, I love love love love love it! Right now, it's my favorite period of History and culture to study.

In my mind, I have the idea for a little spinoff of Blade Under Mask that happens during a period inspired by the Medieval Inquisition and The Catholic Church, which happens to be my favorite study subject, after Feudal Japan!

And did you ever consider doing SciFi artworks ? Since insectoid forms might be pretty convenient for aliens.

Hard to say, because I have lots of inspirations... basically everything that hits my fancy can inspire me!

Ok - when I write, I like listening to music - do you use music to help you work? If so, what do you find yourself listening to mostly?

Always! I love listening to music while I draw. I don't have a favorite genre of music (metal, maybe), I listen to all music genres and I tend to pick songs based on what I am drawing. Right now my playlist is filled with traditional Japanese songs and OSTs from Japan-inspired games, like Okami and Murasama, because they're amazing to inspire me for Blade Under Mask stuff! XD

I don't think that's biologically possible for a environment like that to exist. at least, not for the type of environment you showed us.

Sexual reproduction isn't used by all plants, there are many plants that have asexual reproduction. Plus, there are more ways for sexual plants to reproduce than exclusively pollination. Spores, for examples. Wind and water are also vectors for carrying seeds and spores. It's an alien plant, can't you understand that plants there don't necessarily work like on Earth?

What about plants? Plants, fungi, bacteria, when they die what happens to then? Go to void? Of course not, they are decomposed by bacteria and other fungi the same way as animals are. And the Greatlanders themself? Go to void too?

For example, if someone wanted to "gift" me, and what they'd think is "oh I'm totally going to draw my character having sex with hers!", then... that really wouldn't work. I understand your world is filled with Anthro Buggies, but have you ever thought of making insect counterparts to Earth's animals? Like giant fleas for horses, flies for birds, and maybe cat-sized crickets for, well, cats as a few examples.

Now for a hypothetical. What would happen if I were to accidently fell though a portal to the City of Wood (I'm a regular human by the way)? Would I be mistaken for a demon since humans do not exist in their world or would some kind of strange would happen were I'll instantly transform into a bug myself (or maybe I'll transform slowly over time also)?

Yeah, she would, even if a bit. They have grown up together and very attached to each other, losing the other's attention from suddenly would be quite a change, for the two of them. Tetsuo would be equally jealous if Nae would ever find a danna that would want her to live with him.

Those long nosed folk with perked, pointed ears, and hair that is white, black, or in between, which is said to cover thier bodies. They are said to have fluffy tails that swish from side to side. ;)
