Started my new job in Phoenix yesterday. First payday will have 3 weeks on it come the 18th. Despite the carpets being replaced, I am getting a small amount of my deposit back on my last apartment. I'll be making a brief appearance at AFC, but mostly I'll be paying bills and saving up for an Axolotl fursuit head. I'm hoping to find an artist that I can send the fabric to, so it matches the pieces I'll be making at home.

Yay! Glad to hear you got at least a little of the deposit back. I know that was something you weren't holding out a lot of hope for. Pleasant surprises are the best surprises.

Yay!!!! Glad to hear you things are looking up for you. What day are you going to be at AZFC? I'm only gonna be able to make it to one day this year due to unexpected financial issues, but would love to catch up with ya!

I'm going to shoot for the fursuit parade at 1430 on Saturday. I'm hoping I'll used to my 3am work schedule by then, and hopefully I won't have overtime that day.

early work shifts are never easy... Hopefully if you do get used to it by then, you'll still have energy to keep going that day. I should be their saturday as well, not sure what all I'm going to hit up yet though. My plans to stay the whole con got derailed when the A/c went out a few weeks back and ate up all my savings. :( Come hell or high water I will get there for at least one day to see people, and you are very high on that list of people I want to catch up with :)
