REMEMBER REMEMBER THE 5TH OF NOVEMBER!!!
General
well in lieu of the day and the recent election and our new president elect, May the stars smiles upon him and our country. I think this is appropriate.
Remember remember the fifth of November
Gunpowder, treason and plot.
I see no reason why gunpowder, treason
Should ever be forgot...
But on this most auspicious of nights, permit me then, in lieu of the more commonplace sobriquet, to suggest the character of this dramatis persona.
VoilĂ ! In view, a humble vaudevillian veteran, cast vicariously as both victim and villain by the vicissitudes of Fate. This visage, no mere veneer of vanity, is a vestige of the vox populi, now vacant, vanished. However, this valorous visitation of a by-gone vexation, stands vivified and has vowed to vanquish these venal and virulent vermin van-guarding vice and vouchsafing the violently vicious and voracious violation of volition.
Let us remember this day what has happened in the last 8 years of our country, the corrupt CEO's in our economy stepping on the middle class to retain their cushy positions, soldiers losing their lives for a war that cannot be won against an enemy that cannot be killed, we watched helplessly as our economy collapsed in on itself and the average American couldn't afford to go seek medical attention because of the medical crisis, millions in America losing their jobs as presidents and CEO's walked away with millions in their pockets leaving the rest of us on the side of the road to wither and die.
Let us pause a moment and look forward to what may await us in this country, we're promised change and we have to take it as it comes, I for one believe in Obama and his promise to fix our country, the road will not be an easy one, and my hope in this first term, and hopefully a second to come is that America itself will open it's eyes and see exactly what is going on. Our heads can no longer wait in the sand and hope for the golden ticket to blow in on the wind. we were born from hard work and toil, fighting for what we believe in, and we should be thankful each day we receive the fruits of our labor and strive to be better than we were the day before.
I have two words in parting for you, Carpe Diem, seize the day or tomorrow may never come!
