Rainfurrest 2013

All I have to say is HOLYGAWDWTFAMAZING!!!!!

Thursday
Ok, so I arrive at the airport on Thursday evening, NO DAMN IDEA!!!! Where to go after I get my baggage. Did a broad HALPPPPPP I’m lost!!! twitter message, and was told to follow the signs for the light link rail. I found it and proceeded to follow the signs. It was a lot longer than I expected and as I was carrying my fursuit tote and two other bags I was super tired. I came around the final corner and what do I see? I see  maxcoyote  kuhori  gravethewolf and several others I don’t know their FA waiting for me to welcome me to WA and Rainfurrest. I drop my bags, run up and give Kuhori the biggest hug ever. Everyone proceeded to give me a group hug, BEST THING EVER!!!!! WE walked down to the hotel, parted ways and I got to my room. I got unpacked and went to  kijani_lion ’s panel about fursuiting for newbs. Was very informative to me as a new suiter. After that I put on Ty and went suiting for the first time. All I have to say about it, is PURE AWESOMENESS!!! Got hugs, pictures, and compliments on my suit.

Friday
Oh man Friday is more of a blur than anything. I think that morning me Kuhori, Grave, Toner, Greyscale, and Tabbystorm went out for breakfast, Denny’s no less and I came out no worse for wear. I think I came back to my room, suited up with Kijani and went out suiting for a couple hours. During that time I got a picture with a gentleman who has or still is, I don’t know which, serving in the military. He got my attention and wanted a picture. The best part was he just got back and I was the first thing he got to see that day and get a hug from. He even recognized me as a thylacine and thought I was totally cool. That made my Friday.

Saturday
Saturday was by far the best day ever. I didn’t suit up until Kuhori’s video at 1. That was so much fun OMG. Razzy Lee came up and taught us a bit of choreography to go along with the song. She had us looking pretty good too. Thanks Razzy. Then that afternoon me and  sharakolunarwolf watched a movie in his room. Was super great to hang out with him. Saturday night was the big dance and HOLY SHIT!!!!!!! Furries Party Hard. I danced for several hours in suit, which totally wrecked my legs, I was so sore. When I first got there I was just kinda flailing alone but Matrices came up to me and we danced in front of the stage for a good 20 minutes before I had to go to the lounge and rest. She soon came in and we rested and talked about random stuff. Then me and Kijani went and danced for a long time and then finally headed back to our room. We both were super spent and flopped on our beds and passed out.

Sunday
Sunday was super calm and mild compared to the other days. I really didn’t do very much. We just kinda hung out. I think I suited a little bit, but I cant remember. Kijani put together a bowling meet after the con stuff ended, that was super fun.

Monday
Monday was super sad and happy at the same time. We had to check out of the hotel thankfully I got to say bye to most everyone and that made me super happy.
Later that afternoon, me Kijani and Chaos went to the EMP museum and then Pike Place where I bought a red panda plushy. That was super fun. Later that evening we went to a place called Thai 65. I got the 3 start spicy level buuuuuuut like a dragon I put all the pepper on it. AWWWWWW YEAHHHH!!!! That was amazing . Best food ive had in a long time. Sadly all good things must come to an end. I crashed at Chaos’s place for the night and then went to the airport the next day.

This convention was the best thing ive done in a long time. I can not wait until next year
