Awww... (dies of teh ky00t)

Heh. My mother just got two kittens from the humane society here. Van Dyke, 5 months and a black and white lapfungus, and Kiwi, a three month old little gray tabby with some orange bits here and there, She's a little standoffish, but they both seem to love Mom. Van Dyke (Unfortunate initials prevent abbreviation. :P) loves to sit in her lap and does the usual 'kitten on the keys' whenever he gets a chance while she's at the computer. Kiwi almost always wants to be nearby, she loves to sleep on Mom's chair-side table, clearing her own space to do so if necessary.

These two exhibit so much personality. Leona is brave, curious, and particular about when she allows affection, but is very affectionate when she is ready to show it. Diana however is quite the follower, always just behind Leona whenever it's adventure time. When she wants attention, Diana lets you know, and won't stop letting you know until she's satisfied.

Shiny. :) Mom got really lucky with these two. They seem to like each other, and just wrestle some rather than actually fight. Kiwi will hiss and growl a bit but once she's had enough she'll run away to the top of the cat tree which he hasn't figured out how to climb yet.

These two wrestle as well. Fortunately, neither have hissed that I've heard. Diana meows constantly but Leona hasn't meowed once. They both will purr when they decide it's snuggletime, though!

Hissing isn't a real problem, it's more 'I've had enough, knock it off!'. If they start screaming (like this: http://youtu.be/RF8fPkV9HNc turn down your volume, or you will regret it.) then they're seriously trying to kill each other and need to be separated.
