Seeing as Halloween's coming out soon, I'm going to try looking forwards to doing some narration pieces of horror stories, and possibly doing some art for them for the picture for them.
Question is... I would just pick stuff that catches my fancy, but I like to ask the author's permission to do so. As such, things are going to drag a bit. Would there be people who could suggest some creepy/horror stories for me to narrate?

You could go searching for writers and ask them on their submissions ^^

How about asking for horror or scary scary stories to be linked to a specific journal and you with a select few people choose the ones you like then put those up to a vote by your watchers?

you ask those who write to link you to 1 or 2 of their scary stories, then you and maybe a select few close friends, go through the stories and choose the 10 best, once the 10 have been chosen, you put the links in a new journal and let your followers vote on their top three favorite stories (1-2-3 for stories 1-2-3) for 3-5 days, you tally the votes and the story that has the most votes wins, if there is a tie, you have a 36 hour voting window to determine the winner for what you talked about in this journal.

I can definitely work that way. I doubt I'd get 10 things to go through though. I'm not that well known. The whole set-up of this would be shaky on my part, having never done anything like that before, but I'll give it a shot! Thank you.
