OCTOBER 1:
My new job is freaking amazing! I love it!
I got certified in CPR/First Aid so I am now a HTS(Habilitation Training Specialist) for a 29yr old girl with Cerebral Palsy who lives literally directly across the street from me so I don't EVER have to spend $$ on gas. $8/hr up to 44hrs/wk with pay raises(I should be at about $9/hr by 90days). Awesome EASY job. I love it. And the Health Care System is a GREAT place to work for because I can take my training to many other opportunities. I'm a VERY happy camper
the organization paid for my CPR course, after 240hrs of paid work they PAY ME $30 for taking it LOL The family I work for is amazing. I got to take the girl to the Tulsa State Fair today. They also want me to accompany her to the Rocklahoma concert, Oktoberfest, Tulsa Zoo, Tulsa State Aquarium, etc. because she wants to go and get out. And it didn't cost me a cent to start working, just get CPR/First aid certified(paid by the home health care organization I work for) and take some online courses(FREE through them).
So anyone should be able to easily find a job in the Health Care System as a Home Health Aid(basically what I am). pretty good pay just do NOT have a Felony on your record.
So between the bf, going to TX to see family, the new job that I walk 80ft to every day back and forth, housework, animals - I've been pretty busy.

Holey Crapola, Batman! The lessons in these courses I am taking are LONG!!!!!
First one - 24pages long. Got a 100% on the test.
Second one - 34pgs long. Got a 77% on the test, retook it and got 100% on it.
Third one - 33pgs long. Got a 90% on the test.
I need at LEAST an 80% on each and all tests to pass each of the courses. >< Man, least I am taking notes lol That's helping. All questions are True/False and Multiple Choice, that helps a lot too. So far so good. 13 more lessons/tests to go that are all due before the 30th of October. Keep me in your thoughts and prayers that I keep getting decent scores on these tests!
YESTERDAY:
Had a really busy weekend. Friday was work, nice quiet "catch-up" dinner with Ryan Mitchell, his sister Ren, and her current boyfriend Andrew, then hung out with Jake and Jennifer for a couple hours. Saturday was park, stopped by Ryan's moms Beth for a few min before hitting the tulsa state fair - free admission tickets + free parking = awesome + free Chevelle concert = pretty freaking awesome evening. This was the first actual concert Ryan and I actually attended together. Then today was bust butt to halfway pick-up/clean house then gamed til an hour ago with Ryan, Malran, and Alby. So busy past few days. Sorry for being quiet. Work week starts again tomorrow so I am headed to bed. Will chat with you all later. Night all!
TODAY:
14 online courses done, 2 more left due before the 30th of October, 2 due before the 29th of November, 28 due before Christmas, then all the rest of them, 48 I believe, are all due before March 30th of 2014. I am doing pretty good since I've only started doing them a week ago LOL!
Pretty sure if I keep up this pace, I'll have them done way before then. I plan on doing the last 2 for October and the 2 for November tomorrow. Then I will try to knock out all of December's courses before Thanksgiving because there isnt much time between Thanksgiving and Xmas with family and trip planning for me to try and fit in all these time-consuming courses. I will, of course, try and do them when I have the chance.
I do most of them on the 3 days Ryan is gone til really late - Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. That's when I pump out 3-5 a night after work. That's up to 15 just in those 3 days! LOL! Takes me about 40min-2.5hrs to do a course depending on how long the course is. >< a 49pg course takes me pretty a while but a 28pg lesson takes me about 40min And remember, I have to get at LEAST an 80 on the test at the end of each course. So far, I think I only have two 80s. All the rest are 90s and 100s. I'm proud of myself lol I hope I get a certificate or something for doing all these - I want to post it up on my wall LOL! That's about 90-180hrs of my life I have been doing these 90 courses so YEAH I want something to stare at.
Soo... I haven't gotten my first check yet. I am still financially hurting but I'm hoping within the next month or two when bills are being caught up that things will look up. FOR THOSE WHO DONATED FOR ART BY

Ryan, the bf, is attending college for AUTOCAD and drafting. He has a job offer in the spring when he graduates. Within a year or two he has the potential to make about $35/hr. but until then, between his classes and books/school items costing several hundred each time - we haven't been able to afford groceries in a while and I've been hitting up Food Pantries. Ive downgraded and sold some of my numerous animals including my hedgehog, an aquatic albino African clawed frog, and my beta and his set up plus his pet mystery snail.
Because Ryan and I are still broke, we had to cancel Thanksgiving with our families in Texas AND looks like I won't be celebrating my birthday next month. =( And it's the big 3-0 too. So I'm going to be 28 again and ignore everything and be depressed and hope the day flies by. Oh well. Last year was about the same. This is just a rather large milestone for a lady. Again, oh well. Anyway...
I believed you all deserved an update - why I've been so freaking quiet. I'm going to see if I can pull some strings, get some artists to refund me what they owe me from years ago and check on the art/trades that are still supposed to be on their way.
