AmaDenchArtOnce upon a time there was a cat and a jaguar. The cat was skillful in jumping and the jaguar wanted to be like the cat.
"Teach me how to jump!" asked the jaguar, and the cat agreed to do so.
With a new lesson everyday, the cat gave the jaguar his knowledge.
"I've taught you everything I know" said the cat one day.
The jaguar looked at the cat, and licking his lips, jumped at him, claws out ready to tear the fellow feline apart.
The cat, with a completely new jump, avoided the now surprised jaguar's attack.
"You didn't teach me that one!" replied the jaguar.
"And I'm glad I didn't" said the cat "That's my jump, the cat's jump".

Be careful when teaching a jaguar how to jump.
I'm sure there are many versions of this fable, but this one is based on the Brazilian version.

The last fable I heard was the one about the frog and the scorpion...
This is a new one to me though. I like it.
in star trek voyager I think a croc was the raft for the scorpion and they both drowned albeit scorp having said noIwontpinch.
the scorpion even was sorry for it "its my nature"

Do not teach all your jumps, but a better way to survive is to learn new ones :3 thats what I feel anyways hehe
