A little known fact. Here in KY, you can amend your birth certificate, after Sexual reassignment surgery.
Which is nice, there is nothing on record that shows I was a male. My papers all show I was born female now.
Oddly enough there is only one source I can think of I couldn't get changed...

Oh I know, though my matters are a little complicated since I was born in Nevada. SIGH.
Though I believe that they have the same policy as well.
