Arizona Fur Con

So, even though my work fucked me out of the raves, I still went to the con. I was in and out of the dealer's den with a pink assassin's crest vinyl decal and a badge commission for Rocket and Chibi, BEFORE I registered LOL. I still haven't gotten the badges though. I decided I should support the con though and purchased a one day admission and the t-shirt, even though there were no panels I wanted to go to and I had already been through the dealer's den. The best part of the con was getting to see people I hadn't seen in years. It was so awesome. Also, I let
brittanyspanz04 wear Rocket in the fursuit parade. She was so adorable and looks much better in my suit than I do. She did great for her first time suiting. The con had too much MLP though. I love MLP and I'm a huge fan of the franchise but if I wanted to go to a pony con, I would have gone to a pony con. This is a furry con. Thankfully there wasn't a huge amount of MLP related art in the dealer's den like there was at FC this year. Anyway, overall grade for the con was probably a C+ because I shouldn't have been able to get into the dealer's den and commission something without a con badge, and because of the crappy, uninteresting, and just plain lack of panels. They did pick a great location though. It's walking distance to Paradise Valley Mall, which was a great idea for out of town attendees and those who didn't have access to a car. Also, we didn't have to pay for parking. Overall, great job for a first time con. Ya done good
