Pokémon X + Y
I've never really gotten into a pokemon game. I had started heartgold and played that for a day or two and I played black for at least a week on and off. Fun, yes, but... it started to feel repetitive and slow. Like an 8 way game of rock paper scissors that I wasn't entirely familiar with. I didn't know what beats what and tricks/combos that have been commonly used since the original games.
Regardless, when my ladyshep
sheppymomma wanted to play X and Y together, I gladly obliged to the tune of a new 3DS for her. We bought our own copies of the game Saturday afternoon and spent pretty much the rest of the weekend cuddled up playing pokemon. :D
I've only JUST beat the rock gym... and am currently running around just catching everything I can get my hands on with False Swipe and a million pokeballs. Yup, that's my favorite part of the game is catching *everything* I see. I'm not much of a battler and to be honest, I don't have any definitive favorites (except for pidgy and rufflette etc. Loves me some bird pokemon) But I've been catching and trying out everything, studying my strong/weak versus table so I'm not a total klutz in battles.
Some of my favorite features? Exp share, strength training, OH GOD YES I LOVE TO ALSO PET AND FEED AND PLAY WITH MY PIDGEY FFFFFFFFFF.
Also, the minigames really help break up the monotony of farming and battling AND are actually useful, making your lil buddies stronger. I think, I might have spent more time grooming and feeding and playing the minigames than the actual game. >.<
PS: Add me, we can trade/battle whatever! 3394-4411-3909 I'd love to trade a bunch of stuff!
