Depends on the artist's skill for me. If the price is good I'll go with lesser quality just fine so long as I feel confident the person can draw what I want to a reasonable degree of accuracy. But for me quality winds up winning most of the time.
That sounds fair ^^ there's really a tradeoff, I guess it ultimately depends what you want the picture to be as well, if it's a sequence and such, then yeah I agree, or if you want something like a pin-up/wallpaper you name it, maybe quality would work in this instance!
To me it's mostly about the person. I most often buy them out of mercy to friends whom need money. I can't really buy them whenever I want because... I don't have a lot of money.
Nah, I always try to turn it around and call myself an idiot, because it's irresponsible throwing of money. Naturally if I wouldn't do it, I'd call myself an idiot for being a selfish greedy bastard.
better to get a few ones you wont regret than a whole bunch you arent quite satisfied with.
