neither of those colours are bio luminescent blue or eye searing green
also, consider some glow sticks and multi coloured hair.
Also consider mixing blue and orange, or red and green.

But I'm already mixing blue and orange. :V

Darker colors suggest dominance. Lighter more submissive. I've always taken Nanaki as a more submissive type. So I say lighter.

I'd probably lean towards the lighter tone. In the example image, the patch of white along chest and chin just seems to clash with the darker tint, whereas in the present state it seems to blend better. Just a 'yote's two cents. ^^

I like both.
Though the current one is slightly more relaxing to look at :P

Ever heard of dyes? :) They can change fur colour temporarily.
