For some reason, someone decided to use the art I paid for without permission or even giving myself or Kami-Chan credit for the image.
I mean... is it really so hard to just put in "Hey, this isn't my art, but here's the awesome people that own it!"

People use art all the time without giving credit. Normally it ends up on e621, and then it's near impossible to check authenticity. There may or may not be malicious intent behind it, but no reason to get terribly mad. I'd be pissed if my art was taken, yeah, I think most people would, but not much that can be done about it, especially not on F-list, not unless you have that art certified on there. I think THEN they can do something.

Even on websites like e621 you give a link to the source. Like I said, is it really so hard to just link back to the source, at the very least?

For most people, yes. That involves checking their sources again, as opposed to just a saved image on a computer. It's a bitch, but it's the state of things. Now that I'm getting some art of Matoskah, I'm fully expecting somebody to steal it, even if I hate the idea.

Shame this is a common occurrence, but people are inconsiderate and want their own portion of others lime-light enough to do these things.
