You're amazing, you've got the drive and determination for making it to anywhere you want to go with your work. The lovely part about the way you work is that no matter how small the piece is you put so much heart and soul into it and it shows. With bigger pieces it's blinding, distracting almost but it's just that final extra bit that makes what you do so amazing. <3

Personal art is more important than people give it credit for.

Do you currently use commissions as suplemental income and if so how much do they contribute? (ie enough to make them necessary or do you do them to have some extra splurge money for fun things?). I hope you do have a chance to explore yourself artistically and you have a built in audience right here on FA to share with and to motivate you to keep creating. I find sharing is really an indispensable tool in creative growth, not even for the complimentary comments but just the surge of trepidation and exhilaration the act gives. I think it is somewhat addictive, and for me the addiction stems from both the pang of anxiety and the thrill that somewhere out there may really enjoy or be inspired by what I made. So basically I am just saying, I hope you find an outlet to share and feed the positive energy of sharing back into your creative drive.
