Hey, guys! I like to throw this question out every year or so. I've never had a paranormal or unexplained experience myself, but I know some of YOU have and I'd love to hear about them!

All the details may not be the same, as my grandma told me this one years ago. She also told me a story from the time she was terribly ill. You see, my grandma was married twice. Her first husband died in the war, and even if she loved my grandfather I have to bet.. her heart belonged to her first man. At least those are the vibes I got while she was telling me this story. She was around 60 at the time when it happened. She was dreaming she was in her old home. It was warm and cosy, like a memory of a home should be. By the table, sat no-one else but her first husband. He smiled to her and asked her to sit with him. Overjoyed, she did this, feeling the ache going away. "Come closer, my sweet", he asked and she snugged a bit closer and the years washed away from her. It felt like summer. She could hear people celebrating, singing and dancing. "Come sit on my lap," he asked and that is when she hesitated for a second. Then again, she would give the world to be able to embrase him again. So she sifted, but then somebody touched her shoulder. The sounds of dance slipped away and she drifted away from him. My aunt had been watching over her during her illness, and it was she who tried to wake her up and called for ambulance. Last thing my grandmother heard her late husband said was. "It is alright. I'll be waiting," he smiled before she finally woke up in the hospital.
Not entirely spooky stories, but meh. Still loved hearing them when grandma tols them to me. She will be 90 soon and I sure hope to hear more stories from her.
I had just come home from work and my brother was usually home from his college classes before me, so I figured he was home already. I had moved back home after college so I had the designated "extra room" which was basically a kind of office area without doors, and all I had was a curtain for a wall. Well as I was putting some stuff away in my room, I heard footsteps, and through an open area between my curtain and the doorway I saw a shape pass by through the living room. I figured it was my brother because it was about as tall as him and had on a white shirt. Well I called to him "Hey I'm home!" but I didn't hear a call back, nor did I hear footsteps in the kitchen. I got ready to leave the room when I heard car doors shut outside and no sooner had that happened that my brother comes through the door. No one else had been home that entire time.
I've also had dreams where I've seen people (and my dog) who had passed away and usually sometime after they pass (for my dog, and my co-manager, it was right after, but for the others it was usually AFTER funeral rites had happened and stuff), I would see them in my dreams. I remember having a conversation with my dog about his life, and after that dream I didn't feel sad anymore. And recently my friend's grandparents passed away, one died a few months after her husband. They both appeared to me in a dream from a big light, and gave me tight hugs, didn't say anything, but just smiled at me and disappeared into the light again and I woke up right after.
I don't know what I believe in terms of the afterlife or heaven or anything, but having those dreams gives me some peace.
And I'm glad you have comforting dreams. I think that's something really special and I have to say I'm a little bit jealous XD
Thank you so much for sharing with me!
