Cigar Review of the Week: Bolivar Toro Glass Tubo
12 years ago
General
Hey guys,
Since I have not recieved a new request for a review, I'm going to keep it going with a pick of my
own just to keep it going. XD
I'm choosing one of my many personal favorites.
The Bolivar Toro Glass Tubo.
Knowing that your dealing with a very old cuban cigar name, you're going with
alot of history in cigar brands and quality. If you do happen to find a cigar with
a picture of an englishman on the band of the cigar, I'd say grab it while you can.
But still since the embargo is still active, you can hardly get it....BUT, there is another
blend that can be purchased in the US. So, what I can say is that give this a try. ;3
Cigar Stats:
Length: 6"
Ring Gauge: 52
Wrapper: Honduras
Binder: USA/Connecticut
Filler: Dom Rep, Nicaragua
The wrapper itself is very very oily a few bumps here and there, but
with those details, I don;t see it as an issue. The sweet undertones from the prelight says that
you would consider this type of cigar after a big meal as a treat or a desert b/c of how the medium sweet
can soothe the pallet either with a cup of coffee or a shot of Maker's Mark with coke. :3
Mostly Medium to a Full Body, all I can say is that I get about a few of these a moth, b/c I
can never go wrong with these guys. On another note guys, this cigar gets better with age.
Stock up a few and leave a couple in your humidor for about 6-7 months for a little more taste than you
would expect. ;3
That's it for this week guys.
If you have a request, let me know. ;3

I'm honestly looking for suggestions. I'll be home soon and free to smoke whenever I choose again. I plan on getting a Punch Double Corona or London Club (personal favorites). But I do need some suggestions for when I get home.
