The Portland Trail Blazers of the NBA have recently become the first team of the 4 major sports in the USA (football, basketball, baseball, hockey) to publically endorse marriage equality. This is coming shortly after Oregon has become the 20th state to issue some sort of lawsuit declaring that marriage inequality is unconstitutional. This is how NJ was granted its right to gay marriage yesterday, becoming the 14th state to do so. We'll see where this lawsuit goes for Oregon, but nevertheless, it's awesome that the Trail Blazers are living up to their name.
