I would have just bought them at the store, BUT I just HAD TO HAVE the Pokemon 3DS XL Special Edition which was not sold in any of the stores of the town that I live in, so I had to resort to buying it online. Oh man I'm so stoked!
But maybe I should really calm down on all the buying of the electronics and stuff. Might end up putting myself in debt here pretty soon. :'D

Also, why is X so popular? It's sold out everywhere around where I live (multiple copies of y are available though), and now I see you chose it as well. Better selection of pokes?
Honestly, I'm not really sure. I Just know a lot of people that I know were getting pokemon Y so I decided to be the different one and get X. *shrugs* I actually didn't do any research on what different types of pokemon you can get in each of them, though.
