How did you come to furry? What reservations did you have and how did you overcome them?

My partner has been a furry, and didn't make a huge deal out of it, and I had always been a bit circumspect due to the internet's propensity to expose the nastier side of everything.

I guess the big breakthrough was a car ride through Perth, talking about animals that best describe a person. That's where Cormac first started to become a person...

After that, FurWAG kind of cemented the deal. Exposure to a good friendly crowd with zero assholes was a great way to change my reservations.
