How far are you? You can get a Charmander in X/Y about an hour into the game. It's outright given to you.

I know. I took Venisuar as my 2nd starter. But I've been breeding Feenikens and want to get all 6 of the starters. So right now I have extra Fennikens to trade for others, which I will then breed and trade for more. ;3
