The only way to change the things you have listed is to work on your self esteem. Being "overly jealous, clingy, controlling, and bitchy" are all actions in a relationship that stem from low self confidence, because in the back of your mind you have a sort of feeling of inadequacy that makes you believe there may be another, resulting in lashing out for no reason (in the other persons eyes). I struggle with this myself, not horribly but enough, luckily my mate is very understanding.
