Anti-Stupid Party: Are you really surprised at this?

This question is aimed towards the Republican Party after their attempt to get their way. The attempt that the term "Epic Fail" is not remotely big enough to put into focus. You put the reins of your party into the hands of the Tea Party and then they went someplace crazy and muted their ears to keep from hearing opposing arguments. The Anti-Stupid Party here would like to say we would have like to laughed so hard we'd pop something, but you kept going and it stopped being funny and just became sad.
First off, I personally would not be angry if there was anger over a BILL. Those can be edited and with time become a law. But lo and behold, you're throwing a temper tantrum over a LAW. And then you say it's unconstitutional and illegal. Really? From what I understand, it was a BILL, went through all the legal red tape, handed to every person it should have been, and finally the president signed it into LAW. You know what a law is right? It's those things everyone has to follow even if they don't agree with them to prevent unwanted consequences. I'm sure there are people who'd rather buy a TV then just grab it and run because there's a law against it. Or dropping a brick into oncoming traffic. Or any idea where only the people who don't care and will eventually pay for their idiot ideas later on. So yes, I would have said you have the right make a nuisance of yourselves in opposition to Obama Care. But you don't get to make everyone suffer by going "Screw you guys. I'm going home." Only I think the person that originally said that would call you idiots.
So you wanted to oppose the cost of Obama Care? How much did it cost? Probably not $84 Billion. That's the cost of how much this cost the ENTIRE US! Not to mention the jobs that could have been made. And you shut down the "non-essential" parts of the government. Last I checked, the FDA was a pretty essential organization. Those are the people who keep everyone from drinking Salmonella Smoothies and eating Cholera Cabbage. You essentially held the world hostage because you couldn't get your way. I say it's going to cost you more then just that price tag.
Now do I think Obama Care is mana on high in terms of fixing the health care crisis? No. Do i think it's at least a start? Oh you bet your ass I do. Find me someone who thinks the health care system works now as it without fixing and I'll show you a liar,a cheat, and a delusional sack of DNA who never had to worry about a hospital bill. I've volunteered in a hospital and seen how the ER is as well as have a family member go there. It's a version of working hell no one should ever have to be put into without proper pay. And there's the vicious cycle that many are not aware of. It goes like this:
I can't get proper medical coverage because I don't have a good job. I don't have a good job because I'm in debt for hospital bills. I'm in debt for hospital bills because I don't have proper medical coverage.
I probably just stated that sloppily but that's the cycle in a nutshell. Obama Care would at least find those who don't have/not enough coverage and help them out. And when people have the right coverage they go back to work. When they go back to work, more income for the company. More income for the company, more of a chance for expansion of the company.
There's more i could say about this but I think I'm going to rest myself for now. Just know this Republicans: You needed to do some serious house cleaning before. Now, you need to do it if you ever want the RIGHT people on your side again. I think it's time to quit drinking the tea

FA+

But yes, I agree the Tea Party is not the Republican Party, they should just break off and learn what it's like to be swept into obscurity.
I LOVE that idea.
