MAY I HAVE YOUR ATTENTION, PLEASE!
To those who give me attention via Facebook or Twitter, I apologize for the repetition, but I need to get this message across. There are far too many people out there who need to hear this message.
This goes out to my peers, to those who have felt worthless
to those who feel ugly
to those who hate themselves
to those who resent looking in the mirror, knowing they'll see their worst nightmare stare back at them
to those who have suffered the painful stares and tauntings of their own peers and friends
to those who have never thought they deserved to know happiness
to those who have never felt a loving kiss
to those who write in their journal day after day, wishing it would all just stop
to those who pray to their God, begging Him to take them away
to those who see death as the best of a bad situation
This goes out to those who have been loved by another, but confused as to why
This message goes out to everybody who goes home to a loving family, but are convinced the outside world is more, "right," about what, who, and whose they are.
This message goes out to everyone who has looked in the mirror, seeing God's practical joke to the world, or the lowest form of dirt in existance
This message goes out to those who feel guilty for something they could never be responsible for.
This message goes out to the victims of a society filled with cruel people.
To the ones whose voices will never echo past their own throats because they are too afraid to give a shit anymore.
To those whose hearts have been broken by a loved or trusted friend one too many times.
To those who hate themselves because the outside world hates them.
To those who believe they are nothing more than a number, a simple being whose reason to live is just to live.
To those whose aspirations in life is to get through a single day without feeling worthless, meaningless, or not worth anyone's time.
This message goes out to those who deserve more than they believe.
Those who have a loving person in their life who can see past the walls of hate they built throughout their lifetime.
Those who have a child who laughs and runs into their arms when they hop into view, but fear THEIR future, as they could have a childhood like yours.
Those who have built a life better and more successful than they ever dreamed, but can't understand why or how they did it whilst being, "such a failure."
This is for those who need it most.
If you know anyone who needs this message, please share it along. There are FAR too many people out there who can't watch this without bawling like a child; the child of their past who cries out for love and attention every day, but is pushed aside by the adults who tell them to, "Get over it."

I hit back.
"Did fighting solve your problem?", "Did it make you feel better?". You weren't allowed to say "yes" and if you did, you were told your idea was obviously flawed. Plus, if they accepted that statement as valid would have put their skin in the game. Of course, from my history, I knew the principle on a first name basis. I think I might have said "yes" back towards the end, when I walked away from recess on my own, even when I wasn't in trouble, and refused to go outside 'to socialize'. What were they going to do? Send me to the principles office? Oh wait. Kick me out of school? Yes. Please! I hated it there. Who could learn in that environment anyways. Was the point to torture me? Of course, when I left, they called our house and volunteered to gather all the male teachers together to force my attendance by "throwing me in the back of a pickup truck.". I'm thankful that they cared so deeply about my mental well being. That and - apparently teachers felt they were above their own laws about the use of physical force. Go figure. I wonder if they'd of been so eager once I started clawing and biting as I chewed my nails to sharp edges back then.
But anyways, if sticks and stones were really so horrid a thing, that begs its own question. Why did the other kids keep provoking it? I didn't want to fight them. In fact, I would have preferred being friends, happy, fun, play, discuss video games, later we can wear ears and tails. So why would they provoke terrible harm just to launch 'mere names' at me when we could have had an awesome time? For that matter, why did the teachers always side with them, when stopping their name calling would have stopped me from fighting them? After all, was I supposed to sit there and just take it while they were allowed to hurt me all they wanted? Why? Because a teacher said so? So I fought back and even pinned my worst oppressor. Funny how then, he cried out "I'm your friend! I'm your friend!" just moments after dancing around me, pointing and calling me ugly, fat, f*****, stupid and anything else he could come up with, I got up and left. I knew he wasn't my friend, but pinning him was enough. Like I said, I didn't want to fight him, otherwise I would have tore him apart when I pinned him. I proved it to myself. I wasn't fighting to destroy them, I was fighting to protect me.
I have no doubt that things have only gotten worse since I left and sadly enough, something tells me, were it not for the various acts extreme acts of violence at various schools, 'they' still wouldn't care. Only when they have their skin in the game. I don't know what's worse: that people had to die and seriously get hurt before they realized emotional torture was 'a problem', or that they probably only care because lawyers are involved. Either way, at the end of the day, names are their own kind of foul play and all bullying is wrong and has no place in our world.
