So recently I've been asked why I bring pocky to large fur meets

For those of you who don't know, I've been given nickname recently by a lot of members of the Colorado Fur Fandom as "Pocky Guy" (we all have to be known for something right? XD) I basically hand out pocky sticks to fursuiters and new friends I come across during large furry events that I attend here in Colorado.

Anyways, some people asked me why I do hand out pocky sticks, and I'd like to say that these three are the top answers

1. It's to help provide suiters with some energy to continue doing what they do best and that's make people happy

2. It's just a nice gesture to make newcomers feel welcomed to cons/gatherings

3. Probably the most important reason why I do this is because I enjoy making friends! I enjoy making friends, but I also have a tendency of being fairly shy, like to me; I can't go up to a person and say "Be my friend? 8D" because to me, that is coming on too strongly... instead I hand out pocky sticks as a way to break the ice, it gives me the confidence needed to approach people and talk to them!

I do have one more reason, and that's "why not?"
