Mates bidding in YCH

I wonder how many people are not participating in YCH because these are blind dates.
I'm thinking about implementing "mate bid" feature allowing to place linked bids for 2 positions in a way that either 2 of bids win, either 2 of bids are outbid. So pairing is always preserved for mates.
If one mate bid is outbid, both get disabled.

That is what I'm speeking about - system that will guarantee pairing is preserved automatically
