That pick-a-character meme:

General
I really don't have that many characters, but I've been creating more in recent years than I used to. As such, I'll give you this MEME, and fill out the one obvious one myself before anyone asks. <3
Name a character that you know I write/draw or have written/drawn, and I'll tell you:
a. What initially prompted me to write/draw them.
b. One of their best traits.
c. One of their worst traits.
d. How easy/difficult I find it to write/draw the character.
e. The moment where I feel that I truly captured the character.
f. My plans to write/draw the character in the near future.

ILY:
a.What initially prompted me to write/draw them.
Ily's just my personal character, and this current version of Ily is many years in the making. My first "fursona" ever was a stoat/ermine sometime in early high school, very simplistic in design. After that, everything got all freaked out, and years passed until I decided I needed a shapeshifting character like this one. The dynamic species changes keep me happy. :'3
b. One of their best traits.
Definitely the species shifting abilities. I'm really proud of her square jaguar spots, eye spots, and ear spirals, because while they are all incredibly simplistic designs, they tie me mentally to the character and remind me that it's "me" whenever I draw a form of her with those. Before I decided my character should be able to switch species at random, I was really frustrated, because I always wanted her to be some other animal every other week.
c. One of their worst traits.
unnh, since she IS how I draw "myself", sometimes I'll use her to emphasize things about myself that I don't like, depending on what I want to express. She can be too skinny, clumsy, etc.
d. How easy/difficult I find it to write/draw the character.
I draw Ily very easily, since she's the character I've had around the longest. I get bored of her though, much like I get bored of myself. XD
e. The moment where I feel that I truly captured the character.
Right now I'm very attached to that silly button I did of her that is currently my icon. I like how soft and gentle she looks there. :'3
f. My plans to write/draw the character in the near future.
I'm really hoping this Ily won't be replaced by another, ever. I realize I'll use her to swap between species until the end of time, but I still want her to stay "her". I've been wanting to draw something that emphasizes her color-changing abilities, which I haven't drawn ANYWHERE, so hopefully that will happen soon. XD
ALSO: DINOSAURS.
I only have like three other characters displayed in this gallery that aren't a version of ily, plus some others that are forms of ily, so you're free to ask like "that one version of ily that's a moth" or something. ;<

Hell, I like nagas. Lai and I have muddled around with naga characters pretty much since we met. At one point, we worked on some naga RP for a few weeks, in which my character was based around a green tree python, with no special features otherwise. It was very boring. YEARS LATER, I discovered sunbeam snakes and the magic that is tentacle-like pseudo-dreads, and naga ily came to be. She was created mostly as an experimental character, to play with drawing lighting and the reflections the sunbeam snake's scales create.
b. One of their best traits.
She's very wild a character. While I haven't drawn it really, in my head she's very tough and self-motivated a character. I see her mostly living in a futuristic, part-tribal, part-neo tokyo setting, a fighter of sorts. She's strong, and I like that. ;O
c. One of their worst traits.
...The fact that I don't draw enough. OOPS.
d. How easy/difficult I find it to write/draw the character.
Pretty difficult, I don't have much luck with nagas. XD if it's just waist-up, super cool, but nnggg, I find I get impatient with wasting so much page space with that longlong snake half, since I insist on nagas having freakishly large bodies. Oh well.
e. The moment where I feel that I truly captured the character.
That... one pic that's in my gallery. XD I have a handful of other sketches and such of her, but it will never see the light of the internet.
f. My plans to write/draw the character in the near future.
Been wanting to draw her with some clothes for quite a while. Dunno if that will happen...
