Job Update + Commissions

For anyone who's been following my job dramas, I figured I'd go ahead and update you on the situation. As of this past Friday I am no longer a KFC/Taco Bell employee. I finally decided to nut up and just turn in my uniform; these people have been jerking me around for this long, and even if I could have gotten things resolved, I already know the place is circling the drain. So as soon as I secured employment elsewhere, I quit there. When I went in today to pick up my final check, the place was in shambles: several parties in the lobby had been waiting upwards of fifteen minutes for their food, while drive-through had been waiting for even longer, and I learned of several other people leaving the store. There's literally only one or two people left there that know what the fuck they're doing. I'm pretty sure the place is gonna close down if this keeps up, and the management has nobody to blame but themselves. They'll of course blame the remaining staff as they always have, though, because the biggest problem I've seen in the store - beyond the lack of staff and hours and the horrible treatment of the staff, even - is the fact that the store manager and area coach are not willing to admit that there IS a problem. The first step to overcoming a weakness, IMO, is to actually recognize that there is one, and unless that happens, that place is toast.
Anyway, KFC/Taco Bell is no longer my problem, because as I mentioned, I already have a job elsewhere. Starting Tuesday, I'm gonna be working at Firehouse Subs. I'm still pretty fucking nervous since I'm pretty much starting from square one, but the place doesn't have a drive-through and seems less busy in general while still having about the same number of people on staff, which tells me things should be a bit more chill there. So I just have to actually learn procedures and the like and I should be fine.
Unfortunately, even though my employment problems are mostly resolved, that still leaves me with a week that I was out of a job, which is why I think I should open up a couple of commission slots for those interested. I do still owe a trade piece to someone and would like to get that out first, but once that's resolved I'm likely to be accepting two slots. If anyone happens to need my ToS, it's right here:

So... yep, that's about all.

It would be best if they learn from it - but I get a feeling that KFC will just let it close, and either fire the managers or, if they're really blind/stupid/uncaring, just shuttle them to another KFC.
In any event, good on you for finding a way out of that! Firehouse subs is SOOOOO much better. <3 Just... try not to add any new "special" drinks to their soda lineup - until I get there. c:0
And yeah, subs are indeed healthier. Hopefully for my sanity as well as others' bodies. Now that I think of it, I wonder if Firehouse lets their employees get free lunch? For now I'm gonna brown bag it to be safe, but hey, never know~
I'm surprised you didn't do commissions earlier.
Heck, I even earn money from commission type stuff* and I don't even do art.
*OK, they're actually donations for my public TF2 stuff, but since I didn't get paid to produce that, it's technically an after the fact commission payment right? Especially since one of my TF2 plugins is used on nearly 1/3 of the top 100 TF2 servers GameTracker tracks.
Granted, it's only $15 so far, but I also only set it up a few weeks ago and it only appears in my AlliedModders signature.
