He doesen't! Where Vox is actualy from there is no such thing. It's on rare occasion the gryphon even gets to see em, and he doesen't like the taste of them realy.

1: Vox is sexy because it's one sure way to make sure no one wants to kill him. Being attractive also makes you more charismatic! This helps when running a bunch of unruly mages.
2: Frey is the fine muscle toned fox he is from years of training. He has that rugged marital artist look that is just so appealing!
3: If you ask nicely.

In all technicality, Vox as a character isn't really that prejudice against foxes. The arrogance and dominance he shows towards them is a bad habit from both his father and the other people he grew up around. Vox was the one being looked at as less then a person, so when he finally rose to power, he carried on the habit without thinking. Foxes just happen to be the species that first made themselves seem like willing slaves to him. He'll break the habit eventually...>v>...maybe.

Okay, here's one... Torek vs. Frey: What would Frey do if Torek started talking down at him, because of his vulpine-ness

It would be a lot of fun to watch. Torek is a good fighter...but Frey is a long trained marital artist. His height and speed gives him an edge, and he delights in taking down those with rather heavy prides. Torek would be in for a long and likely pride bruising beating.

Frey is a fox character of mine! He's a marital artist whom mostly travels to find new opponents. He can be meek, but mostly comes across as confident and alittle arrogant.

Torek is the long answer. In short, Torek is a split personality that Vox is also a part of. When Vox rose the his headmastership, he soon found how to pull the separate mind that is Torek from his own and gave it corporeal form. He did it to get the pain of the ass out of his own head. Torek is therefor a sort of brother to Vox. I should write up a full history for them, as it is very long and complex..;P
