Vigilante 8: Arcade!

Oh my good God~
For quite a few years, I'd always mulled over the thought of a remake of Vigilante 8, an amazingly fun vehicular-combat game on the PS1 and N64, released back during those console's haydays~ I really loved it, and of course everyone who had an old favorite usually tosses up the idea of a modern remake, how sweet it'd be, but also how basically impossible any of them are.
Well love power seemed to serve me well since they made a virtual remake on the Xbox 360, Vigilante 8: Arcade, with (most of) the same characters, all the same weapons and power-ups, levels themed around all the old ones (except redesigned), and plans for DLC of stages, characters, and the likes -- all in delicious Xboxey-HD, for a mere 800 Microsoft Points (Which, considering Castle Crashers was 1200, is a steal) l3~~

It's all the same chaotic explosive metal-crunching nonsense from the original, basically repacked with little that ruins the same enjoyable game I've always loved~ It can be played up to four-players local (something a disturbing amount of new games these days seem to lack), and 8 players online (and it works pretty fluidly, too. l3).
I dunno, if you're bored and want a pretty fun game to play, I'd recommend it.
Vigilante 8 has always been one of my favorite games, and I'd recommend it even if this remake never existed -- Arcade isn't full of a lot of story or cut scenes or time-consummation, just good old car-combat goodness (and just a whole lot prettier). l3

FA+

I'm glad he did, but to be honest there aren't enough games that I enjoy playing regularly that would justify the purchase on my behalf. l3
Here's some bonus news for ya.
Luxoflux is working on the next Transformers game ;).
I'm sure you can guess what my Gamertag is l3
i mean i like that it plays just like the old games (with improved graphics) but at the same time it makes it feel kinda...dated
that's just me anyway lawl :V
Watchget~
I guess that's what makes me like it, though~
Latley, I've tired of games where you have to go in, watch twenty minutes of cutscenes, have a bunch of characters with average voice acting and stories I just can't get into... sometimes, I just want a game where I can turn it on, press start, and go. You pick your character, jump right in into a chaotic mess of car-wrecking violence. l3
I like what the game's "How to Play" menu says, and I quote:
● Drive your car all over the place...
● Collect weapons & power-ups...
● Locate enemy vehicles and fire at will...
● Destroy enemies with flair...
● Explore the different gameplay modes and have a blast!
I dunno... sometimes, I just long for summore games like that.
I really don't feel like devoting much of my time to long drawn-out games anymore. D:
Also Chassey Blue is more broken now. D:
Oh well, I'll still check it out when I get my XBawks. :3
