From bad to worse

When we last left our hero....
Two of my rats passed away, due to violence and the threat of worse, my Boyfriend and I have left our apartment and are trying to find a new apartment or at least a place to crash in or around Winter Park or Orlando Florida for a few days. So far we've had poor luck and both of us have very bad credit so the chances are looking pretty slim that we will be able to find anything and we really don't want to deal with room mates again.
Obviously art is on hold while I'm homeless, I've got some money to afford a motel room for a few days (and use the wifi) but this won't last long and I'm getting worried about what to do. Any apartment we look at, if they check our credit then we will instantly get refused and the application fees are kind of draining us as well.
Any donations would of course be super super welcome!

Sadly, I'm all the way in Texas, so rather a bit far out of range.
You might want to talk to someone at a local church, if you haven't yet. Whether you're religious or not, they usually have connections and can tell you who to talk to for various types of help.
