Yes. As of Halloween, it seems, Nintendo has disabled the SpotPass feature of Swapnote and virtually killed off the main point of the app for the 3DS. This is because people have been taking picture with their 3DS of their "junk" and such and sending them to people. This is including minors. So because of this, we, the people using the app responsibly, are to be punished. Not really a smart move on Nintendo's part. They could've just disabled photo sharing until they thought of something better. Oh wait. I just did. Parental controls. Duh. They already have parental controls for the 3DS in the system settings. Why not update the 3DS with a new firmware update that adds that for Noteswap? Not that difficult. Well shit. Not gonna have much use for the app now other than looking at past notes received.
