Returning from Thirlmere empty handed

I blew it.
battyden and I went up to the Rail Transport Museum at Thirlmere. I had hoped to have some photos taken of myself in fursuit (partial) hugging the locomotives up there. The temperature high recorded today was 34°C. Not comfortable weather for fursuit wearing, but that wasn't the problem.
I dragged my fursuit all the way from North Sydney to meet Batty at the city limits. At least I thought I had. Only when we arrived at the museum and I tried to change into it did I realise that I'd done a Malcolm Fraser (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Malcol.....rousers_affair) and misplaced the trousers... again! Same mistake I made at this year's furjam. The clothes I'd worn for the journey were unsuitable; faded blue denims and a short-sleeved green plaid shirt - couldn't wear those with my partial of Michael the Foxaroo.
Dammit.
Batty and I resolved to re-visit during winter. Not only did I ruin fursuit photo opportunities but there were no steam locomotives running due to the strictly enforced fire ban.
So... NEXT YEAR!
