Recommend me some furry books! (Because I want to read some)

Wellyeah, I recently got myself a kindle after all. (You know... after railing against them for YEARS. Story of my life, look under "iPod", "DVD", "BluRay", etc for further nonsense.) And after putting all the usual stuff on it like tons of classics from the public domain, fan-fiction things and so on, there's just the FURI stuff missing. But I have no real idea of what to get because, so far, I never bothered with the author part of the fandom that much.
Sooo... what should I read? Tell me all about the awesome eBook stuff that's out there.
(Just one exception, though: No gay romances with furry characters that could have just as well been human, please! That kind of thing bores me.)

also I'm glad to see I'm not the only one bored with gay romances D: I mean its not bad, but its just repetitive.
Anything else by actual fandom writers? :3
RE furry gay fluff: Yeah, I mean... I don't even read the "real thing". So why would I read a furry version of it? It not any less pedestrian just because they're wolves and foxes. X(
as for actual fandom writers....erm, I think they're hiding :o
there's a fun comic series called "Accursed Dragon!" which is technically writing (comics are visuals + writing)
and the gay fluff is just kind of generic D: two people instantly are meant for each other and there are "evil" straight peeps.
Beyond that...nope, don't really know any. Take that back, I did read a bit of 'Druids', which was sort of like fantasy comics/yiff porn
