OK, so we took a little detour yesterday after visiting with Gran. *coughdadcantreaddirectionsCOUGH* So we didn't arrive back in Bartlesville until 9:40pm. Luckily I was able to catch my mate as he was heading out for work so I sent him a text. Then...le crash. X3
Yesterday was really emotionally draining, between seeing my gran with a tube in her stomach and hearing my sister's friend's death being replayed to every family member who walked in to visit her. Not to mention my dad was crying because we were in a nursing home, and he said it smelled exactly like the place his mama worked at before she passed years later. He had to excuse himself several times during the visit.
And there Gran was, laying (quite possibly) in her death bed and almost everyone was either crying or trading stories of people they knew who committed suicide. I remember glancing over at her every now and then just to see if she felt uncomfortable about their topics...but...she looked more exhausted than anything.
I'm glad I went to see her though, it was something I really needed to do. I bought her a cute little card and showed her how I made 'danglies' in turquoise. On the way out of town we stopped by Food Pyramid to pick up some Dramamine for me. I don't know why but I got really nauseous after the first not even 20mins. But anyway we got that, and Mom picked out this little pot of assorted colorful flowers. (Which Gran loved)
Also, I just remembered last night was daylight savings so...that explains the blinding columns of light piercing my eyeballs.
Ahh...and my work week begins. ^w^'
