Fursuit discovery; My family was surprisingly casual O_o

For awhile I've been hiding all things furry related from my family. My parents are kinda scary when it comes to things out of their comfort zone.
Then, one day, I'm working on a project for my fursuit head to prep for an event with the OCC Furry Club. My mother stumbles upon me alone in my room with this big grey fox head. I was seriously shocked, and frightened. It was 3am, and I did not think she would be awake.
Thinking "Oh shit oh shit oh shit! I'm screwed!", she approaches me, and actually likes my fursuit, and tells me to put on the head, and let her look at the "impressive stitching". (THANKS KISHO, AND SWAYS! :D)
Next was my dad. He knows I have a love for foxes, so I guess it didn't surprise him that I got a full body fox costume. He literally just pointed at it and said "Fox head?" I replied "Yep" and he said it was cool o.o
In fact, he might commission MoreFurLess or any other suit makers to do some custom jobs next year for my family's annual Halloween display. (That'd be pretty sweet to get some new suits out of that. lol)
tl;dr version: Holy shit. My parents discovered I have a fursuit, and by some miracle, they actually liked it. I'm so happy to have Ace in my room with me instead of stashed away at my friend's house! TwT

My mom is actually encouraging me to get a fursuit, but I have to pay for it myself. x_x
I don't have a lot of money stashed away but when I get a job, it should be easier for me. owo
