Star Fox vs Roket Racc-oh wait, no he's fighting a rabbit
12 years ago
So the new Death Battle is coming out soon, Star Fox from Nintendo fame vs Bucky O'Hare, a rather obscure character originally from comic books and then a Saturday morning cartoon (then again back in the 90's everything got a cartoon).
As you can probably tell from the journal title, I most certainly had a preference to see Star Fox tackle Rocket Raccoon, but leaders among their team (Fox being captain, and RR being co-captain of the Guardians of the Galaxy), both having extension history in space flight and firepower, and both having even been in fighting games, proving they can handle themselves on the ground just as well as they can handle themselves in the air. Plus I think RR is quite a bit more well-known a comic book representative of the woodland critter space explorers than Bucky, but ah well, not in the cards I suppose.
That being said, I've never disliked a Death Battle, even the controversial ones (like the recent Ryu vs Strider, or Orchid vs Ivy), but I have to admite I am certainly going to need Wiz and Boom to tell me who Bucky is, cause I really don't have much clue what he's all about. As a result, I really can't even make a prediction of the outcome of the fight, although I know fandom seems to be leaning towards Star Fox, siting his extensive martial prowess in SSB and several of his own games, not to mention that while both Bucky and Fox use laser pistols, Fox's reflector is powerful enough to reflect a close-up attack from Rayquanza, a legendary Pokémon. But I suppose we'll see how the two stack up soon enough ...
... and if Star Fox does win, I hope they pull a TNMT and do a follow-up match! Winner of Fox vx Bucky vx. Rocket Raccoon! Woo!

The toads are the main enemy in his world. They have a weather machine that can turn any planet into the perfect swamp land that they enjoy. They all carry energy rifles and they do eat bugs and slugs and such. There are commanders and the main one is a robot/AI program. Their ships tend to explode a lot when destroyed but they also have the best ejector seat in the world. A imposable to brake bubble that keeps them safe.
Bucky O'Hare is basically the best his race has to offer. While I can't talk exactly what he knows he is the highest jumper from his world. He does perform some minor melee attacks and is able to be a well kept spy. His focus is agility, just like fox is.
Jenny is an magical and psionic power user. Telepathy, astral projection, energy blasts, and healing. However she does not use them very openly because of her Cat race views on them. However Death Battle removes this weakness since they always send out fighters going normaly all out.
Willy DuWitt is Slippy....okay hes a human that replaces the engineer called Bruce. He wears a ape like armor suit and mask sometimes in battle. He's not outright useless and can use the side canon of the ship the the group uses.
Bruiser is Bruce's brother, a Betelgeusian Berserker Baboon. Don't ask. Theses Baboons are large normally orange ape like creatures that have very strong muscles. Toads are fearful of this race and even a tame one like Bruiser is able to scare the living slime out of the Toad army.
Deadeye Duck is the gunner and four-armed former space pirate duck. Yes he is. He carry's with him 4 pistols and will gladly let them do the talking. He normally uses the main cannons of the crew ship.
Blinky is the robot of the crew and can disable him self seemingly at will. He can also record data and uses a jet backpack with a large cannon on the shoulder as his weapon. He can also streach his arms and legs out like SATAM Bunny Rabot.
The ship is called The Righteous Indignation and has four large cannons on the front. It should also have a shoulder air dock that can lunch a small art craft that is openly exposed. The aircraft can lunch off but its sometimes used as a extra gun for the ship.
Outright the arwings and the Great Fox outmatch Bucky ship. The size of the Great Fox might be a problem if the "TRI" can handle faster in space. However if the "TRI" only has one other Space Craft to do battle with the Arwings then I'm sad to say hat they might lose in a dog fight since its literately 4 vs 1.5ish. Ground wise the Bucky team has a large team to deal with. And most of it's members are able to handle their own. While Fox team only has Fox and Falco. Peppy is old and Slippy is....well sadly hes Slippy. There is much to think about it. In a dog fight Fox team has it. But on the ground, it might go to Bucky.
That's about it in a nut shell.
....peace.
Right now they are on they're second season, and the next upcoming Death Battle is Fox McCloud from Star Fox vs. Bucky O'Hare (a rather obscure character from comic book fame and a 90's Saturday morning cartoon), personally I would have preferred Fox McCloud vs. Rocket Raccoon, but that's just me.
