At least it wasn't GTA Online level broken. But I'm surprised it was put together so badly, considering battlefield is all about multiplayer and has had so much experience with it.

Odd, why is it that these big and popular games are so buggy, where as the F2P stuff ive been on (in alpha phases btw) arnt even glitchy? Im not talking small scale either, these are things like Hawken which is kinda like battlefield, but with mechs.

1. Server load. Having 1 million+ players online on launch day tends to break things in weird ways.

2. Most free to play games go open beta for several months to a year or more. Actually, I can't think of a free to play game that didn't do this. If you play said games when they go open beta, then tend to be buggy and crashy as hell.

3. A month or two from now after the patches and the server load goes down, no one will remember...

I notice that games with big titles always have horrible problems once they are released, and BF4 look like it one of them.

Yep! so far every big title I got had this problem. Black Op 2, GTA 5, BF3, All the gears of war.

Go get you some Saints Row. 3 and 4 have treated me wonderfully.

Like saintrow 2, saintrow 3 was still good, and the 4th one look like crap to me. I just dont like the whole future thing.

You should pick it up; it's not what you think, and it's more fun than any brown, shooty FPS. The opening hour parodies stuff left and right and had me laughing pretty continuously.

My brother bought it and I've noticed serious hit registration issues, bullets seem to just pass right through people. Above anything else that just breaks it for me. Line up that perfect headshot with a sniper rifle, and then it doesn't count for anything...

I remember BF3 when it was in beta, and first releases, it was pretty damn solid. Shooting people actually counted... It's like developers are just getting worse and worse at doing their job.

I was an accomplished sniper in bf3 and so far in 4 I cannot hit a damn thing properly. Until everything is assuredly fixed I cannot tell if it is me or the game.

I'm fairly confident in saying it's the game. Sometimes it works, but I find the pistol is getting me more kills than anything else right now >.=.>

Just played a game where 4 shots with the 870 to someone standing still didn't register a hit, killed by a 2 shot pistol. Also other team had someone aimbotting. Its REALLY bad today. I really hope this stuff gets better soon.

For a $70 big-name game? That's pretty ridiculous.

Eh this sort of thing is more common than you'd think with big name brands... I'm sure ghosts will have trouble for the first few weeks as well just like every other CoD. No one seems to want to spend big money on servers and prepare everything until they have profits made from the game -then- they go into buying more servers and making things more stable.

Yea i hard that Lag is a huge problem, which is weird since the beta servers was really stable.

My game's running fine. The server crashes more than the game does, but that was just fixed.

Thats EA for ya, they can never seem to launch a game correctly. BF3 was pretty much the same way, took about a week or 2 to actually play it >_>. Still an amazing game nonetheless.

I never play much of the games, but I hope for a chance to do so in the future, but thanks for giving the heads up!

further warning after buying it few weeks later you need to buy this and this dlc or you wont be able to play it online anymore. which happened to me with bf3 huehue

Another good reason to not buy is the whole Origin is Spyware thing.

As a PC gamer. I've had the same experience. I'm currently waiting for it to be patched. I had no intent on buying the game any way but got it for free due to my job. It really is battlefield 3.5 honestly. I'd sooner go back to enjoying Red Orchestra.

something told me to wait it out. lucky i did. didnt feel like going through what i did with BF3 when i pre ordered it. Might just wait a few patches to see if they fix it.

Its still having issues now and then. I still feel the crappy hit reg from time to time and the game crashes now and then. Sadly I do have a lot of fun with it.

its how it was with bf3 XD.....cussed at it when it crashed, but when you got a solid 3 hours of gaming in and did so good the mods saw fit to kick you from the game, it was a good feeling lol. might get this after i finish christmas shopping.......though i dont think i have the disk space for it atm XD. hope they fix it by then though. really want to get in on the action, when i can, lol

Sadly it still happens. I have been called a faggot several times now and banned for whatever reason. Funniest one was knifing an admin. Second was just killing one. There was a server with the rule set "Do not kill admins or shoot back at admins." lol....

i was in one where they were killing us with chopper support and out team was too dumb to fly the flankers parked at our spawn. so i took it upon myself to hop in one and shoot down every helicopter on the map. the last time doing so resulted in him and his buddy crashing near the cap point. i flew half that match in my flanker shooting down hornets and cobras, and even gunning at tanks here and there until my game magically froze, then it said i was kicked for whatever reason. another time it happened cause i ran out of ammo and ended up killing them and two of theyre squad mates with a 93R *it was all i had XD * me and  myr were also kicked cause we constantly minded the MCOMs. he'd take a high position and id watch the alleys. and they tried and tried, until we lucked up and won that match......then during the loading screen for the next game *or i think it was when the stat screen went black* we got kicked. its fun making admins cry. specially the *no noobtube* types. "Its not a noobtube its a RPG!" XD

Even if this get patched, it still feels like they've goes back in a bad way. I'm not talking about in retrospect either.

I REALLY need some sleep.
