Well ghouls and drools, I managed to stay up through the 25-hour stream for charity, helping my friends at Otterly Gaming to raise money for Extra Life and the Childrens Miracle Network of Hospitals. Together the group raised $575 to help their local hospitals, but Extralife as a foundation worked up just close to $3.5 million! Wow! But hey, just because the annual ExtraLife event is over doesn't mean we need to stop! Keep donating if you can, cause its super awesome to make sure our next generation of gamers carry on the spirit of compassion and sharing. Sure we had a number of examples that there may be some truly evil individuals in the world (the site was proposedly DDoS attacked 4 times over the course of the 25 hours), but we stayed strong and kept playing, donating as much as we could to prove that its a worthy cause.
