yah I've noticed that as well. for me to actually leave a site for the policies though, they have to pretty much tell me they are taking my art to sell it. The rest I can ignore :P

SA was SheezyArt, which went through the same crap as this. They banned mature artwork and EVERYONE left. IT was stupid. Just liek this is, cept on a bigger scale lol.

but they're a damn good site for clean artwork now. I love just love the layout and how it runs. :)

Really? I wouldnt know, I dont know of many peeps on there. Plus I was kinda stoped looking there once that whole incident happend.

I've actually found a few of my favorite artists on there, like ShinigamiGirl, frisket17 and BeastofOblivion. :) so it isn't as small as you think. you should check it out again :3

You know what? Everyone is gonna run like a firebell went off, and in a few week's time, people are going to quietly, sheepishly, file back in. Because FA rocks, and no-where else compares.

Oooooh!! Can i drive the bandwagon? I've always wanted to drive a bandwagon! <3 The way i see it, if i may put a tiny opinion in, is that people didn't like DeviantArt because the administrators didn't allow some art or banned people because they didn't like the art they had. Basically too many rules for people to like. Then a site like this comes along and people like it because it accepts a lot of the art that the administrators of DA didn't let people post. But, too much of a good thing can be bad, so of course when people get lots of freedom, they want more, so enevitably stuff like cub porn comes out of the wood work, and the unwritten rules come into effect that it can't be posted. I'm not agreeing or disagreeing, i'm just saying the makers of this site should define what they want on the site and what they don't want. If they're called facists, so what? Doesn't make it true. I don't know, guess i don't have a real opinion XP I like this site too much to leave it just because of some stupid stuff that doesn't apply to me, no matter how selfish that sounds XD But anyway, bandwagons are fun, especially with horses <3

Considering I usually just blast all my journals except from furs I find interesting or ones with neat titles, I only noticed the huge number of whines in passing.

fuck the bandwagons, they're leaving because with so many of the people they watch gone, they don't have any reason to stay... so they just follow em out. I don't blame 'em, and I'll probably do the same if many more of my fav artists pack up and go.

nah, a lot of artists left, but a lot stayed as well. There is no reason to completely leave just because a few of your fav artists stayed. Maybe become a bit less active here, and more active else where. But to completely pack up and leave, and post a journal entry about how everything makes you so sick and you are leaving is most definatly not just because your favorite artists left.

I wouldn't go that road, though honestly with so many gone (and there are quite a significant number of them, especially amongst the more professional artists - I list 2/3 of the 'best' artists on my list), like you said, activity decreases... Just wait until something better comes along, THEN I'm sure we'll see them all leave.

Furaffinity is a pretty awesome site, I think we are gonna see those artists that left slowly trickle back in. If a new site came up it would have to be one hell of an awesome site to kill FA.

I'm not so sure. As much as I love FA, and would like to see it keep the allure it once had, with the hornet's nest this latest issue stirred up, I wouldn't expect many who left over it to return... It's just one of those matters of policy that's better left well enough alone, and once done, there's no real turning back. People who left as a matter of principle (as they inevitably would) are not likely to come back even if FA did repeal their decision and re-instate the ban. The same goes for those who just got sick of the drama and trolling that the fiasco resulted in, as their whole view of the community has changed to something they don't want. The only ones I have any real hope for are those who left or are leaving because of the sudden decline of appeal for the community minus the other artists who left.

As for hella awesome sites... I hear Furplz could give FA a run for its money, but that has yet to be seen...
